What is OCSM

At OCSM, we believe in empowering individuals to serve with excellence and purpose. Our Ministry School is a dynamic educational space where believers gather to deepen their understanding of Scripture, develop their spiritual gifts, and cultivate practical skills for effective ministry both inside and outside of the local church.

Vision

To see the next generation of leaders become empowered and equipped by God’s Spirit to serve others into greatness, build the local church to be the hope of the world, and develop a biblical foundation. Our hope and vision grow out of Hebrews 13:20-21 “May the God of peace equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever.”

Mission

Our Ministry School exists to equip, empower, and mobilize individuals for impactful service in the Kingdom of God, fostering spiritual growth, leadership development, and a heart for community transformation.

How does it work?

We have an incredible partnership with TheosU, an online teaching platform filled with rich theological teaching on different types of Biblical topics and Seminary based education. All of our formal education will be done through online courses scheduled out and organized by OCSM, as well as the coursework to be completed. In terms of what capacity you need to join in with OCSM, that depends on your stage of life and desires. We have multiple tracks for you to choose from that are tailored to meet part-time, full-time, and even an intern experience. We hope you join in and dive deeper into the leader and disciple you are called to be!

* For full-time students, an interview process will take place

Part-Time

Our Part-time track is designed for those that are wanting to dive deeper into theology and leadership training, and most likely attending Oasis Church Chicago. This track is designed for those wanting to explore ministry leadership, Biblical understanding, and may not have the capacity to dedicate a full-time schedule. This may be for someone who is working a corporate or 9-5 job, or a Mom/Dad, or maybe you have accomplished another type of vocational schooling and want additional training.
